2022 Dry Riesling, Tondré Grapefield, Santa Lucia Highlands

Joe Alarid’s Tondré Grapefield is in the center of the Santa Lucia Highlands and has earned a reputation as one of the top vineyards in the region. Here the fog and breezes provide ideal conditions for growing cool climate varieties like Riesling. We fermented the wine until completely dry in small stainless barrels. This a full bodied wine with flavors of apricot and aromas of honey. The abundant fruit is balanced by mouth watering acidity. Serve lightly chilled with your favorite spicy dishes or fresh seafood.
